Mermaid Face Mask Hanger
We have hit the winter season at our house and between the boots, gloves, hats, scarves, coats, etc, etc our entryway is crowded!
That’s why I made this little hanger to keep my daughter’s masks handy and out of the way. She is obsessed with mermaids right now so it encourages her to hang them up and say hi to her little friends.
You can do any theme you like, Dollar Tree has tons of different stickers to choose from.
And depending on the age of your child they can help you make this – just watch out for the hot glue gun!
Hang it up with a no damage hook – Amazon had a ton of options.
How To Make A Mermaid Face Mask Hanger (DIY for less than $10 from Dollar Tree).

For this mermaid sign I used everything from the Dollar Tree except the glue gun, which I already had, and some chalk paint from Michaels I had leftover from another project. You can definitely use paint from Dollar Tree too!
If you do purchase from Michaels ALWAYS check their website for a coupon first. They usually have 30-50% off coupons! Such a great deal.
I used: Sea Glass Chalk Paint
Step 1: Paint the Sign

First I took a Christmas sign I found, flipped it over and painted it. I used two coats.
Look for a vertical sign with a ribbon attached for hanging.
Step 2: Add the Stickers

Once the paint was dry I applied the glitter poster stickers and mermaid wall stickers,
I noticed my letters weren’t perfectly centered so I readjusted (after I took all my photos ah!).
Learn from my mistake and measure out the letters and center them before sticking!
Step 3: Attach the Hooks (aka rings)

Next, using my glue gun I glued three of the party rings to the sign.
I let the glue dry and the next day the sign was up and holding my daughter’s mask.
As mentioned above you can use this sign later for scrunchies or jewelry – you can just put on new letters.
And that’s it – our laundry room feels so much more organized already
