Giant unicorns are the pool inflatable du jour.  And celebrities are getting in on the theme as well.  Former Bachelorette Ali Fedotowsky threw her daughter a unicorn themed birthday party.

Looking at her photos I thought what a great baby shower theme too! This modern baby theme is perfect for a spring/summer shower with all the bright colours and is definitely on the girlie side.  I did an Etsy hunt and have included my favourite finds for throwing the perfect Unicorn Baby Shower.

Iridescent Mermaid and Unicorn Tassel Garland from Genwoo

Hang this garland over your food and gift tables.  I love the Iridescence look, fun and beautiful.

Unicorn Paper Straws from FSquaredShop

These straws are adorable.  They also tell your guests that you have thought of EVERY detail – you are the hostess with the mostest.

Unicorn Balloons from GenWoo

I love balloons.  Love. So simple and you can put them anywhere to fill in decor gaps.

Unicorn Horn + Ears Cupcake Toppers from Tenderlovecardstock

Come on!  How. Cute. Are. These.  Elevate your dessert game with these beauties.

Unicorn Invitation from PRETTYBYHER

I love the sparkle in the horn on these invitations.  The flower crown and gorgeous eyelashes make me want to come back as a unicorn in my next life.

Other elements:

Food: focus on dessert – brightly coloured cupcakes with unicorn toppers, rainbow macaroons and a candy bar would be a great fit

Décor: save money by using balloons and streamers instead of flowers

Complimentary colours: all things purple, pink, gold sparkles and white
